Do you ever find yourself wondering how exactly some people manage it? How on earth they seem to do it all with ease? Y’know, those people with the well-behaved kids, the Pinterest-worthy home, the ideal relationship, and every success in their chosen career?
There must be hundreds of articles available that describe the day-to-day routine of our favourite celebs and entrepreneurs – their “routine for success” – but they’re just not relatable to us average joes, working two jobs, juggling kids and trying to turn a side hustle into a business. We don’t care that already successful people get up at 5am to exercise for the fun of it – I bet they didn’t always do that! No, those of us yet to be bestowed with our successes are looking for hacks and a little bit of guidance.
But there is really only one thing that we need to do. Put. In. The. Effort.
People get successful by putting in the effort, even when they bloody well don’t feel like it. They show up for themselves every single day, because no one else is going to do it for them. And because unfortunately, simply wanting something is not enough.
You find time, make time – you multi task – you prioritise what it is that you want from this life.
Everybody has 24 hours a day to do these things – some people just use them more wisely; more effectively.
We need to take responsibility for ourselves and get into action. Some say that a little effort goes a long way, so imagine how far you could get with a lot more effort!
